These are online classes, and you'll have homework to do, usually a class form or blackboard where you can join other students for discussion, and you'll usually have a certification at the end of these online classes. As long as your a self starter, these online photography classes are great way to pick up a few techniques and tips concerning underwater photography.
The joys of underwater photography are many, but remember, it is an alien environment and your safety comes first. Make sure before starting any underwater photography class that you have a basic understanding of scuba diving, snorkeling and swimming. No shot is worth your life even if it's the best underwater photography picture ever taken.
