Underwater Photography
Well you have discovered the world of underwater photography. It is rated as a well-liked pastime, hobby, job, or sport; whatever you wish to call it. Most divers attempt to avoid less than ideal situations and conditions like being aware of tidal flows, heavy currents, or poor visibility.
There is just something about underwater photography that is appealing. It is not a sport. It is something that is well thought out with a strategy and a purpose. The purpose is that of bringing the awe of the underwater world to the above water world beings. There are those that go to the point of making a living of underwater photography but most are just interested in taking cool pictures to show their family and friends.
You may have chosen a digital camera, a video camera or a movie type camera but whatever the camera, it does not really matter. Cameras these days are so uniquely advanced that it is hard to take a bad picture. There is a thrill when you see your first picture you took underwater. There are a few things to be aware of when taking pictures underwater, many automatic disposable underwater cameras will automatically flash, and according to the light your picture you may not need this. Also, speed of film has a lot to do with how clear your pictures turn out and it's all according to how much debris is floating in the water as to what type of film you're going to use.
